Synopsis

The Big Clock Up is a brand-new story set in the fictional village of Tockingham, where the church clock at St. Tick’s has suddenly stopped. Faced with an unexpected repair bill of £742, the church committee come up with one ambitious solution… stage a fundraising musical! What follows is a heartwarming and hilarious journey through committee meetings, auditions, rehearsals and the inevitable chaos that comes with bringing a community production to life. Inspired by the warmth and wit of shows such as The Vicar of Dibley, the observational comedy of Victoria Wood and the larger-than-life characters of Absolutely Fabulous.  The Big Clock Up celebrates the people who quietly keep our communities running. As an original production, this is a unique opportunity to see something completely new.
